Your Rentalist.pro subscription is managed through Lemon Squeezy. Rentalist.pro is a yearly subscription that renews automatically unless you cancel. Your price, your renewal date and your invoices are all on the Lemon Squeezy page linked from the Subscription & License screen in the app.
The screen shows your subscription status, and a Check Subscription Now button re-checks it on demand.
Your license is good for use on up to two machines at the same time. You can move your license between machines by deactivating it on one, using Deactivate License on This Machine on the Subscription & License screen, then activating it on the other machine.
Rentalist stores all of your data locally on your computer. The company does not collect, transmit, or have access to your data. The app connects to the internet only in these ways:
- It checks your subscription status with the licensing service (or the applicable app store), sending your license key or store receipt and a device identifier.
- The copy you download directly from the Rentalist website fetches a small version-listing file from the website in order to tell you when a newer version is available.
- If you turn on the optional email feature, it connects to the email account and provider you specify, using credentials you supply, with read-only access, and reads and processes those messages on your computer.
No financial data, personal data, or usage data is transmitted to us. Holiday dates and the mileage rate do not use the internet. There is no AI inside Rentalist.
